ETFs

Fixed income ETFs own fixed income securities, sometimes called bonds, and can be used to generate income, with the potential for capital preservation. 

Balanced or multi-asset ETFs invest across asset classes including a mix of stocks and bonds.

Equity ETFs invest in stocks across a broad range of sectors, market capitalizations and geographies, such as Canada, the U.S. and global.

Active ETFs are exchange-traded funds whose underlying portfolio allocation is managed by a portfolio manager.

Sustainable ETFs are those that explicitly incorporate environmental, social and/or governance (ESG) factors into the research process to assess a company’s material financial risks and opportunities. 

Digital asset ETFs have direct exposure to cryptocurrencies or other digital asset-focused themes such as the metaverse.
