Andrei is the Director of ETFs at Fidelity Canada. Today, our panel breaks down all the notable ETF industry trends of the past quarter. As both equity and fixed-income markets rebounded in Q1 of 2023 with some strong performance, ETF flows ensued. As of the end of March, there were $10.6B of net inflows into the Canadian ETF industry. International equities outpaced U.S. equities by more than $1.5B, while cash alternatives ETFs remained popular with another $2.7B inflows.
