Distributions explained

Distribution reinvestment plan

Distributions paid by the Funds to the investor are automatically reinvested in additional units of the Funds at the net asset value per unit on the date of distribution.

Cash distribution option

Cash distributions are available for all funds.

For RSP accounts, all distributions are reinvested.

For non-registered accounts, you may choose to have distributions reinvested, directly deposited to your bank account or paid by cheque. If you choose direct deposit, you will need to attach a personalized voided cheque to the application form.

Additional information for non-registered accounts: For Fidelity Tax-Smart CashFlowTM series and/or a series of a fund that pays monthly distributions at a fixed rate, the default distribution will be direct deposit/cheque unless you advise us in writing that you want these distributions to be reinvested in the applicable series of the fund.

Fidelity Capital Structure dividends

Fidelity’s corporate class funds paid capital gains dividends in January 2022 and January 2023, but did not pay any capital gains dividends in January 2024 or January 2025.  It may be required to pay capital gains dividends in January 2026;  it is too early to say, but such dividends could be significant; investors should have an expectation that corporate class funds will pay capital gains dividends.
Please see the 2024 Year end distribution information for details of capital gains distributions paid in December 2024 from the underlying funds of the corporate class funds.

Tax receipts

Fidelity’s 2024 tax receipts will be mailed to unitholders in the same envelope as their year-end statements (where applicable). First 60 days contribution receipts for PAC deposits will be mailed in early March.
