Jamie Stuttard is a portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments. Jamie joined Fidelity’s Bond Group in London in June of 2011 and maintains management responsibilities for Fidelity Global Bond Fund.
Jamie brings 13 years of fixed-income experience to Fidelity. He joined from Schroder Investment Management Limited, where he served as head of European and U.K. fixed income and lead portfolio manager of Global Investment Grade Credit, Global Corporate Bond Fund, Global Credit Duration Hedged Fund, Euro Bond, GBP Broad Market, SSF Broad Market Libor and ISF Euro Short Term Fund. Under his leadership, Schroder’s European fixed-income assets increased from US$11 billion to US$30 billion. His previous role included the management of US$18 billion in European and U.K. global credit portfolios, as well as management responsibilities for a team of ten that included six portfolio managers.
Before his role at Schroder, he was portfolio manager and vice-president for PIMCO Europe Limited in London, from 2001 to 2003. Jamie had oversight of all corporate positions in London. He started the first global credit initiative at PIMCO as the pan-European point person for global credit. From 1999 to 2001, he served as a portfolio manager for Dresdner RCM Global Investors in London. Jamie's career began at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, in the graduate program, as a credit analyst.
Jamie received an MA in history from Cambridge University (Emmanuel College).
