Michael  Strong

Corporate Biography

Michael Strong is a portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments. He is currently lead portfolio manager for Fidelity Global Fund, Fidelity Global Asset Allocation Fund and Fidelity Global Disciplined Equity® Fund. Michael is also an institutional portfolio manager for Fidelity International Growth Fund, for Canadian and U.S. investors.

Michael joined Fidelity in 1999 as an international equity investment director. In this role, he supported the sales team in product analysis and development.

Before joining Fidelity, Michael was a senior investment consultant with Watson Wyatt in the U.K. He was responsible for investment strategies, including asset allocation, manager selection and monitoring. From 1969 to 1990, Michael worked for Ford Motor Company in London. He served in several different roles, leaving the firm as an investment manager.

Michael has been a speaker on investment topics at National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems (NCPERS) symposiums, the National Association of Pension Funds Conferences in the U.K. and institutional investor conferences, also in the U.K. He has also published several articles in Institutional Investor and Pensions Management.

Michael received a BA in economics from the University of Manchester, England.
