Mark  Schmehl

Corporate Biography

Mark Schmehl is a portfolio manager for Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. He manages Fidelity Canadian Growth Company Fund and Fidelity Special Situations Fund.

Mark joined Fidelity in 2000 and has covered a wide range of industries, including health care, utilities, mining, transportation, industrials, insurance and real estate. From 2000 to 2003, he managed Fidelity Select Materials Fund, which is offered to U.S. investors. From 2000 to 2008, he co-managed Fidelity Canadian Disciplined Equity® Fund.

Before joining Fidelity, Mark worked for four years in pension consulting at SEI Investments.

Mark earned an MBA from Columbia University and a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
