Joe Overdevest is a portfolio manager for Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. Joe is the lead manager of the Pyramis Canadian Focused Equity strategy, and also manages a subportfolio of the Pyramis International Growth strategy. He supports the portfolio lead as a co-manager on the Pyramis Canadian Core Equity and Pyramis Canadian Systematic Equity strategies, in addition to Fidelity Canadian Equity Private Pool and Fidelity Concentrated Canadian Equity Private Pool. His current portfolio management responsibilities also include the management of the Canadian equity portions of Fidelity Canadian Asset Allocation Fund and Fidelity Global Fund. Joe is co-manager of Fidelity Global Natural Resources Fund and is a member of the Canadian Asset Allocation Team.
Joe joined Fidelity in 2002 as a research analyst with Team Canada, the research and portfolio management team for investment products sold through Fidelity Investments Canada ULC. Previous areas of coverage include Canadian oil and gas, diversified financials, telecommunication services, retail, consumer durables and automotive parts.
Joe earned an honours BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
