Darren  Lekkerkerker

Corporate Biography

Darren Lekkerkerker is a portfolio manager for Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. Darren manages the Canadian equity subportfolio of Fidelity Canadian Balanced Fund, Fidelity Canadian Asset Allocation Fund and is portfolio co-manager of Fidelity Global Natural Resources Fund.

Darren joined Fidelity in 2004 as a research analyst for Team Canada, where he has provided equity research coverage for a number of industries in the Canadian market including materials, health care and consumer staples. Darren was promoted to his current role as a portfolio manager in 2009.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Darren worked for five years in investment banking and private equity.

Darren graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with an MBA, and received a BBA in finance from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1997. He completed the Chartered Financial Analyst program in 1999.
