Corporate Biography

William (Bill) Hoyt is a portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments. Bill manages the global dividend portfolios of Fidelity Global Dividend Fund and Fidelity Global Monthly Income Fund. In October 2008, he assumed portfolio management responsibilities for the emerging markets equity subportfolio of Fidelity Global Fund and joined the Global Equity Allocation Team, responsible for making regional allocations within Fidelity Global Fund. Bill also co-manages a number of concentrated international and global strategies. Additionally, Bill works with the Quantitative Strategies Group guiding the work of quantitative analysts specializing in international markets.

Before joining Fidelity, Bill was a principal at Trust & Fiduciary Management Services (TFMS) in Boston, where he participated in the management of trust, endowment and individual portfolios through the development and application of adaptive, multi-factor stock-selection models. Before joining TFMS in 2000, he worked as a senior analyst at Scudder Kemper Investments in San Francisco, developing stock-selection models for use by the private investment counsel group. From 1998 to 1999, Bill was an associate portfolio manager for Neuberger Berman, following mid-cap consumer discretionary and consumer staples companies. From 1996 to 1998, he was an investment analyst for Pioneer Group, where he followed mid-cap consumer, energy and technology companies. Bill began his investment career in 1992 as a fundamental analyst for Baker, Fentress & Company.

Bill received an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
