Henry Chan is a portfolio manager for Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. In March 2011, Henry assumed management of Fidelity AsiaStar® Fund.
Before joining Pyramis in 2011, Henry was responsible for Asian investment policy at Baring Asset Management. He was head of the Asia investment team, with specialist research responsibilities for Greater China markets. Henry also had the lead portfolio management role in Baring’s Asian institutional mandates and flagship retail products. Previously, he managed Greater China Fund Inc. and co-managed Baring China Absolute Return Fund and Baring Korea Trust. He also has past experience at Invesco.
Henry earned a bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1992. Henry speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and he is a Certified Professional Accountant and a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
