Sudipto Banerji is a portfolio manager for FIL Limited, a Fidelity Investments Company, managing the equity subportfolio of Fidelity Global Asset Allocation Fund.
He began his career at Fidelity in 2000 as an equity analyst covering the European consumer sector, specifically retail food stocks. As part of our analyst sector rotation program, he moved on to cover European banks, insurance and bancassurance companies, and then became team leader for European industrials and natural resources coverage. Sudipto began managing Fidelity European Values PLC, a U.K.-listed investment trust, in June 2008.
Before this assignment, he managed FF Global Industrials Fund and was responsible for managing the energy and industrials and materials subportfolio of FF Global Sector/Opportunities Fund, available to investors in several European markets.
Sudipto has an MSc in finance from the London Business School and received a BCom (Hons) in commerce from the University of Delhi. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
