Fidelity Income Replacement Portfolios™

The calculator assumes the initial investment is made in Series B with a NAV per unit of each portfolio on record as of December 31, 2012. No purchases or redemptions are made subsequent to the initial purchase. Calculations are based on the portfolio current payment rates in effect as of January 2013. Actual cash flow payment may vary depending on the NAV at the time of purchase.

The payment rate for each horizon period is available in the prospectus. The payment rate is applied to the NAV at the end of the year resulting in a monthly payment for the year, assuming that there are no investments or withdrawals from the portfolio, other than those resulting from the monthly payments.

Fidelity Income Replacement Portfolios monthly payments are calculated based on data available in the year 2013 and will fluctuate in subsequent years. Monthly payments are calculated based on a schedule of annual target payment rates, which are determined by Fidelity Investments and disclosed in the prospectus. Monthly payments are not guaranteed and may fluctuate. The dollar amount of the monthly payment generally will fluctuate from one year to the next because the payment will depend on, among other factors, the annual target payment rate, the investment performance, and the amount invested in the portfolio.

The monthly cash flows from Fidelity Income Replacement Portfolios may include income as well as return of capital. A return of capital reduces an investor's adjusted cost base. Capital gains taxes are deferred until units are sold or until the ACB goes below zero. Investors should not confuse this cash flow distribution with a fund's rate of return or yield. While investors in Fidelity Income Replacement Portfolios may be able to defer some personal capital gains, they must still pay tax on capital gains distributions that arise from portfolio rebalancings and the sale of individual holdings by the managers of the underlying funds and on interest and dividend distributions. Fidelity Income Replacement Portfolios will also pay a distribution that must be reinvested in December, consisting of income and capital gains. The return of capital portion of the Fidelity Income Replacement Portfolios pre-tax monthly cash flow may vary from year to year and includes reinvested year-end distributions.
