Financial Advisor Centre

Making the most of Fidelity’s Financial Advisor Centre.

The Financial Advisor Centre on fidelity.ca is divided into two sections:

  1. Sales and marketing, which contains materials for advisors only
  2. My Book, which securely provides up-to-date information about your:
  • Profile, Fidelity assets, sales history, and compensation
  • Account details, fund holdings, transaction history, ACB, statements, and duplicate tax receipts
  • Account listings and reporting

What do I need to create my User ID?

If you already have access to My Book, you will need your dealer rep code and your existing My Book password to create your User ID.

If you only have Sales and marketing access, you will need your dealer rep code to create your User ID. If you would also like access to My Book, you will need your Fidelity First ID number and one of your clients’ Fidelity account numbers.

Your First ID number was mailed to you when your dealer rep code was initially registered with Fidelity. To obtain it again, call Fidelity Client Relations at 1-800-263-4077 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET, Monday to Friday.

I have more than one dealer rep code. Can I link all my dealer rep codes?

Absolutely. You can link all of your existing dealer rep codes to your User ID for a consolidated view of your entire Fidelity book. Simply log in to the Financial Advisor Centre, click “My Book” and then click on “Manage linked dealer rep codes.” From this screen, you will be able to link all of your dealer rep codes.

Can I continue to log in to the Financial Advisor Centre if I change firms and my existing dealer rep code is terminated?

If your existing dealer rep code is terminated, your User ID will enable you to login to the Financial Advisor Centre and access Sales and marketing materials. You will no longer have access to the client accounts associated with the terminated dealer rep code.

I have assistants and/or associates. Can I sign them up for online access to the Financial Advisor Centre?

You now have the ability to grant unique access for up to 20 of your assistants and associates by creating a profile for each individual. Just log in to the Financial Advisor Centre, click “My Book” and then click on “Create access profiles.” After you create each profile, that colleague will immediately receive a confirmation email prompting them to authenticate, and create a User ID and password.

What if I forget my User ID?

If you forget your User ID, click on Forgot User ID? and respond to the prompts. We will send your User ID in an email to the address you registered.

What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, click on Forgot Password? Respond to the prompts and then create a new password.
