Fidelity Retirement Readiness Snapshot is a fast, easy-to-use online calculator. It takes your answers to six simple questions and estimates:

  • Your accumulated savings at the time you retire
  • Your approximate income in the first year of retirement

Within minutes, you'll know approximately where you stand. Snapshot lets you make some changes to see how they would affect your results, and then print a report to discuss with your financial advisor.

Following up with your advisor is critical, because Snapshot is just a way to get started. But Snapshot does provide that all-important big picture that will get you started toward planning for the retirement you want.
