Corporate Social Responsibility

Fidelity Canada strives to give back to the communities in which we do business. One of the ways we accomplish this is by providing opportunities for young Canadians to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Through our national partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, we have founded the Power Up! Program twelve years ago and in 2014 we are proud to be able to sponsor the new STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Program.  These programs encourage children and youth to gain an appreciation for and to foster a positive attitude towards education and life-long learning.

2012 marked the 10th anniversary of our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada and we are proud that over the past decade we have supported over 10,000 students in their completion of the Power Up! Program.

This partnership isn’t just about the Power Up! or STE(A)M Programs—it’s about creating opportunities and experiences. Every year Fidelity hosts approximately 500 Boys and Girls Clubs members from the Greater Toronto Area clubs to attend events such as Toronto Blue Jays games, Toronto Raptors games, and trips to Canada’s Wonderland.

We also help our employees to support causes that are important to them by providing them with tools, programs and information that give them the opportunity to enhance their contribution to others. Whether enabling our employees to take a day off to volunteer or helping employees coordinate internal fundraisers, Fidelity encourages our employees to make a difference in their local community.
