Description

Our Sales teams partner with financial institutions, Investment Professionals, consultants, and employers to educate and provide Canadian investors with a full line-up of products and services. They also customize products and services to meet our individual client needs. Some areas within Sales include:

Information Technology and Services

Description

The IT/IS group installs, maintains, and supports Fidelity's production and development environments. Services range from project management, systems development, Help Desk, and desktop support, to system (WAN/LAN) and telecommunications monitoring and support. Customer Relations

Description

As a front-line contact to Fidelity Canada, our Client Services Representatives in the retail centre respond primarily to unitholder and Investment Professional queries through inbound calls, correspondence, and mail.

Fidelity Retirement Services and Employee Services Centre Representatives respond in a similar manner to plan sponsors and plan participants.

Providing outstanding value-added service is our top priority.

Operations

Description

Our back-office operations consist of money transfer (processing transactions), ensuring that records of our unitholders, plan sponsors and Investment Professionals' records are kept up-to-date, and generating statements and receipts.

Areas within Operations include:  

  • Distributor Services (broker and dealer operational support)
  • Mutual Fund Processing (transactions and account information)
  • Plan Administration
  • Processing Support (document imaging, indexing and settlements)
  • Trust Accounting (cash and transaction reconciliation)  

Operations also provides project management and user acceptance testing support, necessary for product and process improvements that affect our Client Services and Processing functions.
